It's clear as mud.. The opinion that counts is the Examiners, with the right paperwork the CAA should stamp it.

You could do 40 hours in an R22, then 5 in an R44...

You could do 40 hours in an R22, then 5 in an R44 then a skill test to get a PPL with R44 type rating. Then you could do 45 mins in an R22 to add your R22 type rating. That worked for me. I think as...
