This actually makes sense... Both agree on 1,2 %...

This actually makes sense... Both agree on 1,2 % for twins (perhaps because airports are designed around this assumption?), but the required climb gradient for trijets and quads is different.

Is WAT weight independent of V2?

Airplanes on takeoff fly in conditions where drag decreases with speed. Therefore, at a given weight, increasing speed would allow better climb gradient......
