I agree with Basil. I hope that any "eager young pilot" will shy clear of any Pprune suggestions, unless they are part of that pilots S.O.P.s

Then article on pulling the controls rather than pushing makes interesting reading and debate. However, nowhere in the article on over-runs does it mention the absolute need for the correct landing...
