What sort of a head did those jet turnouts have? I'm guessing it may look like a water pipe Tee Piece with spindle bearings that needed grease or lube to remain of suitable viscosity given the heat...

It did some maintenace at Caloundra then headed further South for some real big deal??? I remember admiring the paintwork....
