More than likely something to do with the UK CAA...

More than likely something to do with the UK CAA not having sufficient suitable personnel to deal with the request for confirmation from the IAA in a timely manner.

Well that must be a VERY recent introduction by the IAA because as recently as February this year there was absolutely no issues here - the papers haven’t changed so why should the process?
