Some worked every night and most of the weekend, most followed a pattern something like Gonzo/AJ and others did practically...

MATS 1 is a very dry document that can be confusing without instruction but worth a quick read.
Also, you will probably have to recognise different aircraft...

I didn't have my certificates but got in contact with the Headmasters secretary at my old school and she wrote me a nice confirmation letter which did the job nicely:)
