Couldnt agree more, with the 4 bolts gone the door(plug) is free to do exactly as you describe.
They havent found any of the bolts according to the last NTSB news conference i watched & the spring...

For the seating config used by that airline there...

For the seating config used by that airline there is no requirement to have those 2 exits equipped with doors/slides.
The number of operative doors/emerg exits satisfies the evacuation requirements...
