I was quoted 108,000 hours on a Columbia...

I was quoted 108,000 hours on a Columbia Helicopters BV107. That was in 2011 and it was still flying then.

Great sense of priorities.

Eurocopter's first priority was not to return the Super Pumas to service, but to ‘regain confidence in the aircraft, company and solution’.

One would think that returning the EC225s to service...

Its not a step anywhere. AAAvn aircrew have been conducting annual training in PNG since we were operating the Souix. HDA training is a key competancy.
