Very true, however im not sure how he managed to be issued with a company authorisation to issue a CRS without the QA dept actually seeing his licence with the relevent types endorsed on it, very lax

Friend of mine holds a DGAC issued licence and he suffers exactly this sort of attidude, no one wants french licence holders , its a ridiculous situation when a EASA members licences are worthless...

Obviously its not normal to fly with a winglet missing however the A330 can be despatched IAW with cdl/mel if one has to be removed due to damage etc, clearly performance penalties are inccured
