G5 and Garmin 430

How does one set up for VOR tracking using both the Garmin 5 and 430? I am guessing that the VOR identifier needs to be placed in the 430 with the Direct too function.

Thanks for all the help guys. Hold both Transport Canada and FAA licence with Instructor rating and previously held a PPL in the UK but Medical for that long since expired. Not sure who suggested...

Is anyone aware of any schools hiring overseas who accept ICAO licences? My total time is about 1,000 hrs with half of that time spent Instructing.

It will not be accepted at face value as there is indeed a solo requirement in Canada which is not provided in the USA. Just get it done in Canada, it will save time, heartache and money.

Pro IFR

Pro IFR your best bet out of all the ones you mentioned. Will get it done quicker with a school with a good reputation, seminars/ groundschool by experienced guys from the Industry.

Just got back, decided on a 1 hr intro lesson in a Heli, had a great flight, stayed around the local area and landed in Red Rock canyon, a really great experience.
