Security matters/manners

I would just like to reply to A&C post of 13/03 regarding security at BHX.

I only go through there as a pax these days (once/twice a month normally) so no idea how they now treat the crews.

Kalitta baned from EU

As SLF I would just like to say I flew in to AMS on Wednesday just a a Kalitta 747 was on it's way for take off. It would appear that they are still operating to the EU.

HS - thanks for the rapid reply. If the penalty is that low what benefits do the winglets give to performance, fuel economy etc.

Winglets, on other Airbus models, appear much smaller than the 330...
