NATS don’t actually provide the ATC for Gatwick, it is done by the subsidiary company NATS solutions. Different terms and conditions, but the same amount of planes to control. Basically cheap NATS!!...

Recruitment is going to be an issue. Gatwick are woefully short of numbers. NATS solutions T&C,s aren’t as good as the ANS contracts or NATS contracts.

There are plans to use both runways at Gatwick. I am not sure how developed these plans are though. ATC procedures and spacing requirements will be a challenge.
