The loss of jobs at Schiphol AMS airport is due loss of handling contracts of Arkefly which is a dutch charter company and loss of VLM which is in hands of KLM nowadays.

We have plenty towbarless tugs at AMS but none of them r qualified for the 340-600 according the books

A/C diverted with a medical emergency..airport authorities parked the aircraft at a gate while they shud hv known that there is no towbar for a 340-600 at AMS airport..(same problem happende 2 years...

Was on duty at ops......during t/o roll the brakes applied and the a/c went off center line so the capt aborted t/o...a/c went AOG..left the next day mt to STN:)

what we used to do in AMS is a rope over the nose gear attachted to a push back tug....or some airports hv hooks in the ramp to attach the rope at:cool:

According their fleet schedule the 5X-ROY is at MSE for an A check and the 5X-JOS will arrive tdy 27th
at MSE for an A check..5X-DAS at CGK for an C check so only the 5X-JOE is

delay code

Had the same a few weeks ago on AC and we gave code 41 as its
considered as a part of the aircraft.
We had approx 3.5hrs delay due to this as no medical kit oh at AMS so maintenance had to make one...
