The more types the more pilots the more jobs the more upgrades. Less type ratings less jobs etc etc. surely...

remoak - they have plenty of FOs with the company time and 1000's of hours on heavy jets that would meet command requirements yet they seem to be advertising for DECs why?

I also wonder if they will reinstate the 34 approach as the Dash will have problems circling off the RNAV 16 - not so hard in a Cat A aircraft but can imagine a few diverts in a moist NTHly

However with the constant aftershocks that the controllers were dealing with there were constant notifications (at least across OH & WN sectors)...

In my opinion they are quite accurate when there is a solid base and crap vis - also not bad when the wx is pretty good for wind and QNH....... it is the in between when they are not so good when...
