I must say the ATC was more than helpful especially being based in the midwest..
The american system is simple and effective from flight...

If you are at 180 and need to descend more than a 1000ft/min..try gear down on your airplane..non standard but im sure it will help;-)

NOw,this is interesting...i was told not to start the APU during the refuelling which makes sense..as the battery is used to for the start,hence electrical activity..BUT shutting down is allowed.....

Why shut down an engine which still gives you some thrust until having safely reached MSA...QRH engine failure is not...

Dear All,

My airline doesnt have the acceleration altitude published in any manuals...
It doesnt make sense that if a missed approach is initiated at lets say 200ft AGL you typically start...
