I read that Flybe will be getting 737-300s soon (possibly up to 7?) and flying them out of Birmingham to Palma, Alicante, Murcia, Malaga and other sunny destinations.

In terms of schedule and lifestyle, which is better if you had the choice LGW shorthaul or LHR shorthaul? I understand that LHR flies the Airbus and LGW flies the 737.
