Has it been discounted that the trim was moved to that position during the flight? With a disking prop on one side that could have easily been the case. Its the most common killer in the King Air.

Good news, you do not have to redo your exams, just a renewal required, Think about doing a GPS rating as NDB not required and we dont use them any more in this country, well most people dont.

Why would you be safer in a 402 or PA31?. Engine failures in singles dont often kill you but they do in poor performace twins.
Most accidents in singles are not the engine stopping anyway.
