VLM fire at EGCC

Mate was a PAX on the 6:55 VLM flight to London City at 6:55 today - full evacuation just before take-off run. No one hurt from what I can gather but loads of delay I would guess given the position...

Anyone got any info on the Emergency landing at Gatwick yesterday AM (22nd Sept, around 10:00 AM).
