There were several variations on the 10-2 crank. The later ones were stronger but looked the same as the earlier ones. They are both splined drives. I have the numbers VKD 45164 and 30 ( MAY BE 36)...

Thanks for that. I was beginning to think I would never find anything to fit. I was heartbroken to find the SE5 replica was too small. Dad being 6 feet 6 sort of gave a clue as to my eventual size!
