The above is mostly a commentary on BAA rather than BA.

This may be technically correct. But T5 is the "LHR home" for BA. Irrespective of who owns, manages and cleans T5 if I was BA I would ensure that resources and programmes were in place to present...

Solent Radar get my vote as well. If they can clear you in, or through, they do. And, as previously said, they provide a very good service to traffic transiting outside the zone whether VFR or IFR....
