Living near Bath I see aircraft en route to both RAF Lyneham & Bristol A/P. Even the odd VC10 & Lockheed 1011 which makes a change.

In 1979 I did Luton to Freetown, Sierra Leone in a Britannia 737-200; but it did a crew change at Casablanca southbound, and Las Palmas northwards. Quite far enough on a small plane.
