stansted is only a few minutes away from beckingham palace in sawbridgeworth where he (sometimes) lives. i'd imagine that was the reason for the diversion.

they're the same ones you've experienced yourself whenever you've jumped...

im not bothered for teh LHR transfer, only the international.

the temperature outside the aircraft at altitude is well below freezing, causing the moisture in the air to freeze. i'd imagine there was a fault with a seal in the door that meant it was not...

it shouldn't have to be a question of if the phone interferes (sp) with the aircraft's systems or not. who is so bloody important that they can't wait until back inside teh terminal before loading...

'Heavy' just means that the aircraft is large, and heavy, which the controller uses to plan spacings, and note different...
