No - you do not need ETOPS in 135 - so long as you are under 180 minutes - but you have to come up with a S/E speed to verify that - and that is where we are...

Weight is a factor also. A much heavier plane will glide further.

I think it's very important - as was mentioned - to go through the mental gymnastics of working out reasonable "how goes it"...
