Haven't flow commercial in a while but I thought I have seen on some carriers the word "ETOPS" on the nosewheel door?
If that's the case it should been caught on the pre-flight walk around.

I believe stall speed increases by the square...

I believe stall speed increases by the square root of the load factor.
Ex. 50 kts stall speed, when the airplane is under a 2G load, square route of 2 is 1.41.
So 50 kts X 1.41 = 70.5 kts.

I have noticed that it can take one year to sell a helicopter. That's from the listings I have seen. Of course if the selling price is really low it can be sold in a week.
