That is block time.

Brakes off to brakes on. (This time includes the pushback, engine start, taxi out, flight time, then any holding on way into MAN, taxi in to stand at MAN).

I believe the only place to do a JAA Class 1 in the UK is Gatwick.

This is not the case for FAA or Canadian Class 1 medicals. They can be done at several places across the UK and are much cheaper...
