Since LM has been on the scene in the IOM the cabin crew base has been 4 full timers with the ATR42/S2000 (single cabin crew member) covering just LCY/LHR, with crew from GLA & ABZ frequently drafted...

I know that EDI based crews sometimes finish their day in GLA.....could be to do with that. When mainline BA had a GLA base they rountinely finished their days in EDI to be taxied back to their cars...

Airdrie-Bathgate line trains go straight through to my station, 5 minute walk away, without having to change, so I'm door to door in around 90 minutes with only the change at Edinburgh Park.

Eastern managed to fill a daily J41 between IOM-GLA, as did Citywing with 2 daily L410s at higher fares than Loganair charge on their less frequent EDI-IOM. I've taken the EDI service four times now...

I do the journey door to door in 90 minutes using a Helensburgh train on the (slightly slower if it's a Milngavie) - Airdrie-Bathgate line to either Partick or Hyndland (equidistant for me).

The three times the EDI schedule has worked for me have resulted in more than half of the passengers following each other to the tram, then onto Edinburgh Park, then onto a Glasgow train!!
