It's the all engines NET gradient safety factor (Which is the gross gradient x0.77).

The Performance exam is not as bad as you may think. I did mine in November and didn't use CAP 698...

I did some flying around Daytona in March. I found it to be pretty busy. Daytona has a flight training school, Embry Riddle on the field and there are lots of other training establshments...

Did PPL there last year. Havent been up there for a few months, been doing a Night rating at Southend and hour building in Florida.
