QRA at Leconfield

Thanks for your responses. I found out from another source that 19 and 92 Sqns did indeed stand QRA at Leconfield prior to their move to Gutersloh. There were no QRA sheds.

Nos 5 and 11 Sqns...

Can any of you historians confirm if the Lightnings held QRA at Leconfield. If they did, would anyone know if they operated from QRA sheds and where on the airfield these sheds were situated?

The paint scheme was applied to one airframe only as a "test"; the universal opinion across the Team was that it was too garish and, therefore, was never adopted.
