The article said that in Bulgaria those items are all legal so I doubt they were bothered by it. And the departure airport would have been Burgas as that is the only Bulgarian route from Cardiff...

NYC a couple of times a week and Orlando once a week is probably it for Cardiff. Shannon is unique with many of those flights for Irish Americans tourists. CWL doesn't have that.
