You had better hurry up . With the introduction of ADSB all ndb and possibly vor stations will be decommissioned and the VFR pilot had better invest in GPS .

Yes 27/09 1090esIN does not upload weather only the 978 IN band does this however dual band receivers are on the market. The problem is that Airservices are introducing half a system to save money....
