pack off then on before pushback(B777)

Just before the B777 push back (before the before start procedure), it takes about a few seconds for the pack to turn off and on again, and I don't think this is for engine start.
Does anyone know...

how do you guys write the night flight time on flight logs, when you are flying long, starting from night to morning, vice versa.

I'm confusing... how do I calculate the night time facing Sun in...

RWY elevation on 07 chart is bold text,
but other on 25 is normal text.
