Those items like 5hrs MDC are fairly significant because they basically allow QF board to be seen keeping its 3% but in the reality if those items are applied to standbys and all duties .......

I think We’re always at risk with FRMS constantly being pushed back by CASA and them allowing our low cost carriers repeatly to get exemptions on the 900 hours/ year rule to let us fly up to 1000hrs....

Yeh surely they won't be taking too many JQ guys into Qantas, means double hiring. I have heard that JQ will be looking to fill those new SO positions that are in the EBA towards the end of this year...

I think they Have a decent pool of cadets waiting that they're still promising a commitment to.

But year will be interesting to see what happens. Maybe DE for FO & Cadet for SO positions

Agree with these 2 ^^^^ I think the sooner you accept the Cadets are part of the industry now, the sooner you'll get over it.

I'll be interested if Jetstar puts them on straight away once this EBA...
