I can’t find this FAQ page your alluding to? Ryanair HR stated on LinkedIn that the bond is gone, I can’t see why mentored cadets would get an exception, it’s not like they are needed right now.

I agree. A type rating doesn't even cost 20k, so if they want that much they obviously want you to contribute towards the line training as well.

The bond was never €35k in the past. It used to be €29k, then it went down to €5k and since the start of the year it’s been €10k. So if it’s now up to €35k, that’s the most it’s ever been.

I had presumed if you were a mentored cadet you bypassed the HR bit and went straight into the sim assessment day.
