Does anyone have any views on the FBO facility that appears to have been set up. Is it operational, has it been used and how does it differ from what was offered in the past?

TUI. PMI

The extra flight means they can offer odd durations, always a popular money spinner, especially for PMI. Actually surprised they didn't do it sooner.

Thanks SW, there have been times when that has nearly happened, usually through laughter to be honest! Thought I'd best edit that - lol.

Can't really comment, my nine years in the industry dealing with route planning and yield management must have passed me by. Gonna shut up now, monthly input over!

Don't get me started on Malta, another contributor on this site knows full well I gave a hint to a now ex decision making employee at SEN on getting a more recognised carrier on board for that...

Sorry TWS , I'm going to disagree with you on that one. If that were the case why do TCX and TUI cut back so heavily as soon as April arrives? Operating restrictions do not affect them.

Canaries Flights

Quite a simple answer to this one. All UK tour operators class these as Winter destinations, Ezy are following the crowd, it would be unlikely they would sell enough seats to make the routes viable...

Chesna

I would be careful about suggesting that ADSF is not a fan of Southend.

I will end this by saying there are previous posts from us that have debated this issue, from quite a while ago....

I know, I must live on another planet. My lot launch new routes within 9 months of first identifying a potential destination and putting rubber to tarmac. As I said, I'll just watch and learn.

I give up! Especially as I don't even know why I am being agreed with, when I'm obviously not... confusing but funny! Back to watching from the sidelines for me.

Thanks for making me laugh! My actual experience may surprise you.... I do actually have a great deal of experience in this field, so I do know when things are failing, and they are!

EF and Barling.

I admire your positive attitude. But I cannot agree, the potential permanent loss of Adria and the exit of Skyworks are out of SEN's control. The mention of a three year window to...

All, not said anything for ages. What's the point, I wonder if anyone actually has something in their job spec relating to attracting new business at SEN? I know someone who offered to help, don't...

Some of us are professionals in the industry, but we just read the comments, from experience if we say something it is taken quite negatively. So we don't bother any more.

Seasonal Airport

I think that is a pretty obvious comment when the major operator caters for sunshine routes on it's summer timetable.

The six month contract is odd. How can you run a professional operation if you...

I will just keep this short and open it all for comment.

We are now approaching S15 with no new operators. Other than a paper carrier that which is very unlikely (but not definitely) to become a...

SAS

Again I agree with Airport Panner. The likelihood of a national carrier the size of SAS picking SEN is so small it's not worth considering. Sorry, but it's a fact.

TFS fuel uplift

Regarding putting off other carriers.
