I am bit confused about how to determine Vapp, in particular in these conditons :
- no ice accretion
- no auto-thrust
- no autoland
- nil wind
- normal conditions (ie. no failures)

FM position determination

FM = FMC/FMS/FMGS/FMGC...(the Flight Management system)

If FM 1 and FM 2 use the same source to calculate its positions, then why do :
- FMS 1 (3IRS GPS)
- FMS 2 (3IRS GPS)
- GPIRS

if you need more than idle thrust on the way down before 1000' HAA, you f%$#ed up...
