Seniority System

Major quality airlines mostly have the seniority system - ab initio trained pilots only, and only the oldest F/O is next for an upgrading. Currently 17 years waiting time for an upgrading - trend...

Yes, i did work in an quite professional environment. To keep up my basic flying skills I flew FD OFF / raw data & manual thrust most of the time, as well as visual approaches when ever possible.
