Converting FAA IR to EASA

There is no minimum more than the fact that an FAA IR is 45 hours and EASA is 50, so if you did the FAA IR in minimum time, you have to do 5 hrs to fulfill the EASA requirement.

Changing FROM UK

Hold it.

You want to change FROM UK TO ANOTHER STATE.

You have to request that in writing to your new "State of License Issue", not the old UK. They will then ask the UK CAA to transfer...

EASA first

Hi,

You can get an EASA "from Zero to MCC" course in Sweden for 50,000 EUR. To take the FAA and convert to EASA would not be cheaper nor faster.

SIFA has MCC and B737 type rating. Theory in Eslöv and sim in Riga.
