Hey I've just done the AT, I was told they will get back to me within 6 weeks so fingers crossed! :)

That's only 2 days ago? Still got plenty of time, remember big companies do take a while to get back to people. Also, I don't think having aviation or engineering background is necessary...

It all depends on their schedule, they may group applications together in batches to do the IT, when I applied, a week later they invited me to the IT.

Just apply and have some patience....

They must have done 2 big group of batches for the IT for 07/08 and 08/08.
