Yes but it's not the degree that's the useful part it's the fact that you get 9k a year, so that's 27k with type rating, plus a maintanence loan of upto 5k a year which will change a lot for hopeful...

Well, it is because you don't have to attend a university campus or pay any more money to obtain the degree. All you have to do is be accepted on to an integrated course at the certain flight schools...
