The old brain cells are working hard to remember all those names but some of it is coming back now!! I seem to recall Vic Barkell and Laddie Hendley flying at Turama River as well for a short while...

Not exactly sure but I think the Helitrans S58T's were PNG registered. I was at the Turama River base in PNG mid 70's and seem to remember that they had 2 x S58T models and one S58 C model there...

I think Jan Newby was the CFI at a large flying academy based at Cessnock before he joined Tamair. Not sure on the name of that academy but they had initials like NASA or something similar....

As far as I know they are still operating in Sarawak but not 100% sure.
Most guys I know who fly for them started on their Longranger than B205 in Sarwak before getting on the Aircrane...
