just for your information....... those controllers on essex (stansted) that "cant be bothered" to let you transit compared to those nice controllers at Luton that go out their way to be helpfull........

good question......cant talk for the higher levels but it causes problems closer to the ground!

i frequently have to stop aircraft off at 3.5A as there is VFR traffic well within their rights...

unfortunatly the only one who can decide if they are VFR or IFR is the pilot and even the best met actual or forecast cannot tell you exactly what the weather is doing at that precise time in that...

unfortunatly although it seems strange but pilots arnt really the best to decide if they are too close to the one ahead.....i say this because unless they can see the whole picture and every aircraft...

there's a coule of ways you can go to becoming a controller. the first and most direct route is to apply to one of the larger ATC providers eg. NATS - check their web site for what qualifications...

yep youre right - it may help if you say which type of centre you woudl like to visit ie an area centre or tma.
