There are more than 10 helicopters just from the private companies. I do not have the exact numbers but Simrik, Mountain, Fishtail, Dynasty, Manang, Shree have at least 2 helicopters...

I do not see a problem with expats getting paid more in China. Most of the expats are Captains and come with experience. China rarely hires FOs and upgrades them.
