Heard from a SQ Capt from training that starting 2013, there will even be excess Captains and they will be allowed to take NPL as well.

For those who are interested to apply or go for interview etc.. You can just go ahead with it first, but try to have the mindset that they are not going to hire you..

Go find yourself another job...
