IIRC, the 737 actually has (low)speed protection in V/S mode and won't stall.
Not sure about high speed protection though.

Not sure I agree with that. The IRUs calculate true heading directly, without the need for a database. Its magnetic heading that needs the database.

My guess would be that cabin pressure would start to rise during descent to the point where the relief safety valves will maintain max Differential Pressure, provided you don't turn off the Packs....

But in context, it's still valid what I wrote. You won't trigger the horn just by going from F15 to F25 with the gear still up.
