I expect to fly on EASA licence.

I wanted to be sure because the price difference is huge when you compare FAA and EASA.
My only solution is to do an EASA type rating since Im not gonna...

I don't have an FAA licence, only EASA.

I wanted to know if it was possible to do a non-EASA TR with an EASA licence, go in Africa, fly and when I would reach 500 hrs, do a test with an EASA...

According the text you've mentionned, it says :

A valid class or type rating contained in a licence issued by a third country....

The thing is I do have a licence issued by the UK CAA, so at...

Hi everybody,

Here is my question :

Is it possible with a frozen EASA ATPL to do a non EASA type rating in US and then have it on my licence ?

It used to be possible with 500 hours on type...
