I did my IR in a Seneca and would again, with "steam powered" instruments.
I fly the airbus now, and haven't had any trouble changing over to Glass. Though, you still need to practice and try hard...

However, if you look at Fcom 3.1.20 (operational limitations)


So you should slow down to 220kts...

You don't use TOGA for a discon.
