Yup.... and l believe we can only log PIC flight time as leaving the ground until we land. (FAA) whereas in a plank it is as soon as the engine is running.

New up date....I believe that you cant do the ATP seaplane without having 50hrs in type and class. Bummer as l wanted to get my multi seaplane atp.

bbk you could try Traxair at ORL or if nearer Crosswind at SFB. A guy in Spruce creek does tailwheel training. I take it that as your are flight crew you have an FAA license. (needed for solo rental)

Time building as PIC in a 'N' reg. you will need an FAA certificate.
For CFI, you will need TSA, VISA and a commercial (single or multi) FAA certificate.

But l think you will have to do a written and flight test.
If not a US citizen, TSA clearance and if done in the US, l belive a visa is needed.
