Top tip trying to reverse an F2/3 with the Buckets don't do what i dd and jab the brakes when it all went a bit pete tong - i almost ended up sitting it on its arse - not a bright idea !

SNEB was not that accurate - fine against tanks but not ships - The match of Martel and Sea Eagle on the Bucc made it the perfect aircraft -weapon fit for the role - says he with 6 hrs total on Buccs...

Back to the point - I think it was an AIM 120 kill - For the following reasons -
If it was an Aim 9L shot or M/P the F16 would have had to been V close at 20,000 with 5 mies approx - I don't think...

Strange Pod

I think its a Bullpup missile pod - used when we fired Missiles at Valley - but i can't see a live missile fitted - the nearest aircraft also seems to have a multi launcher on the right sgt fletcher...

GR4 release to service

So back to the point - the F3 was cleared to Mach 2 plus because the ramps worked - I was under the impression the GR4 no longer had movable ramps and was therefore subsonic ? - just curious
