1. No. Rex only had their ICUS program approved about 6 months ago. I would say another year till any cadet is eligible for upgrade.

Careful though, if you do spend your 23k elsewhere then start the Rex cadetship, you can effectively kiss most of that goodbye as Rex will not discount the course cost to anywhere near that amount.

Shock1, its never too late for any career change. If the cadetship is what you want to do, by all means apply again. I've heard many stories of qantas cadets only getting a shot after multiple tries....

Good first post mate. I really do feel for the course 1 cadets who are now staring down the barrel of a $750 p/m repayment on a ~$45k salary with rent and other living expenses to cover.
