yes...you are quite right that its not up to SIA to decide if they recongise the licence...its CAAS...things might have change already...its better to check with CAAS...they will be able...

SIA will not recongnise aussie CPL...so even if u got Auz CPL..you will still need to go thru the whole training program...just that they let you fly abt 30hrs less on the...
